Glynn Young is an award-winning speechwriter and communications professional. His speeches for Fortune 500 executives have appeared numerous times in Vital Speeches of the Day and other national publications, and he’s published numerous articles on communications in journals and magazines.
He is the author of five novels in the Dancing Priest series and the non-fiction book Poetry at Work.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Glynn received his B.A. in Journalism degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his Masters of Liberal Arts degree from Washington University of St. Louis. He has been a book reviewer for the Houston (TX) Chronicle and St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and is currently an editor at Tweetspeak Poetry, with a weekly column on poetry, poets, and literature. His favorite authors and poets are Charles Dickens, William Faulkner, J.R.R. Tolkien, Mario Vargas Llosa, and T.S. Eliot.
He and his wife Janet live in St. Louis. They have two grown sons and three grandsons.
